The International Symposium on Material-Hydrogen Systems (aka MH Conferences) can trace its roots back to 1968. This biannual conference series covers a wide range of interests related to the interaction of hydrogen with materials (e.g. metals, complex hydrides, organics, porous structures, composites, complex hydrides, catalysts, etc.) encompassing the fundamental science of these interactions through to the applied engineering solutions and associated life-cycle and techno-economic assessment of these hydrogen-based technologies (e.g. storage, compression, batteries, fuel cells, etc.). The MH Conferences attract researchers from around the globe from both academia and industry and at different career stages. The MH Conferences also looks to encourage and support early career researchers (PhD students and postdoctoral researchers) with diverse backgrounds in order for them to get the most out of the conference and from the MH community.
Come and join us in 2026 at the next MH Conference:
