For the first half of the class, we will continue to discuss the mathematical foundations of network analysis that we began last class.
For the second half, we will undertake a short overview of different kinds of network research designs, including sociocentric (whole-network), egocentric (personal network), cognitive social structures, etc. As part of this, we will discuss the informant accuracy stream of research.
In addition, if there is time, we will discuss using Qualtrics to collect network survey data.
