Привет, and welcome to my teaching portfolio. My name is Maria Glukhova, and I am a Russian language instructor and Ph.D. candidate in Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I teach Russian through communicative, culturally grounded practices, drawing on my experience in immersive programs in the United States, Russia, and Central Asia. I also teach Elementary Ukrainian. My goal as an educator is to help students build confidence, curiosity, and intercultural awareness as they develop their linguistic skills.
