Nowadays the major problem with researchers and scientists is to deal with antibiotics resistance. This is spreading exorbitantly throughout the world and especially in developing countries like India, China, Brazil, etc. The main reason behind it is the easy access to antibiotics among common people. If we’ll talk about India, where anyone can get antibiotics without any proper prescriptions, this overuse of antibiotics is a serious concern that is ignored by most policymakers. Several laws are built to cope up with this problem but they are not strictly implemented on the ground level. We need to make a defensible supervision scheme to deal with antibiotics resistance in near future. Several studies have confirmed the presence of antibiotics in other mammals and also in aquatic ecosystems. It is obvious that this is harming the natural habitats of several microorganisms present in our environment. Antibiotics resistance is a severe threat to environmental health. Our lab is focused to identify such susceptible microorganisms present in our environment that are resistant to several antibiotics.
