Reflection: My personal fitness was assessed in PED 282 Health Related Physical Fitness using the FitnessGram. The health-related fitness components of this test include cardio-respiratory fitness, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and body composition. My article demonstrates the health fitness zone that I achieved within cardio, curl-ups, push- ups, and the sit and reach. The numbers that I completed were within the appropriate and healthy range for my age group. Allowing myself to receive this certificate for fitness due to my work ethic to accomplish this.

The FitnessGram results relate to Component 2.b by displaying a health-enhancing level of fitness by meeting the standards of a healthy fitness zone, which is measured, then based on your age and gender. This also helps show some knowledge and competency in being able to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The purpose of this test is to assess where students stand in relation to their overall fitness levels and how they are able to execute or implement their fitness within a controlled environment.
