Keep in mind, the Discord script posts every day at 11 AM Central time. If you add an event for that same day after that time, your event will not show up in the script postings. However, if this is not the case, please contact one of the admins - you can find our info under About and Contact.
First things first - did the script not post to any other servers either, or is it only not posting to yours? If it's not showing up on any servers, it's likely Google and Discord are having a minor spat again and it will resolve itself by the next day, and the script admins are likely aware of it. If it's only your server experiencing an issue, it's possible there's some manner of error with the Webhook URL that was provided, or one of us goofed and entered it wrong into the script - check with an admin and we'll hunt down the issue for you.
It may have been removed due to non-adherence to the rules, incorrect title format, or missing or bad contact info. You should have been contacted prior to its removal, but if the posting had bad contact info listed, we may not have been able to contact you first. Please reach out to us - if there was a mistake made on either side, we will happily see it rectified as best as we can.
Short answer: Because of how the Discord posting script is coded. Long answer: At the time of writing this (DEC2020) we are actually not entirely sure if an incorrect format will break the script/the script won't post the event - we haven't had time to test it with our dev version of it yet. IRL takes precedence over all!
YUP. This is all the work of hobbyists, volunteers and people who care about the community a lot. Doin' this all for free and on entirely too much coffee/soda.
Depends on who you want to help! You can help the community by being visible, showing up to these events that get posted, making your own, and supporting and uplifting others around you. If you want to help with the calendar or script, reach out to one of the admins or managers and we'll talk about it!
Yes!! We have approval from both Potter (originator) and Tristanis (MG-H and Neutral developer) to share the code for the script. Just DM Mirchea or Tristanis and we'll happily give you the Pastebin of the JavaScript - scrubbed of Webhooks, of course. It may require some editing to get it to reflect your server's tag correctly and whatnot.
