The Library has a Notary Public available free of charge.
To ensure availability, please call to confirm Notary is present and available before you head to the library.
To have a document notarized you must have:
Photo ID (Cannot be temporary or a copy)
Unsigned document to be notarized
The MGF Library offers a Genealogy Room with a wide selection of resources, including microfilm and local history materials. While an appointment is not required to use the room, we recommend calling ahead to ensure it is available, as it may already be in use.
If you would like to request research to be done by staff, please email us at staff@mgflibrary.net. We will research when we are able, however, the fastest way to get something needed would be for you to come in at your convenience.

Faxing is available during Library business hours.
Sending- $1.00 per fax - up to 50 pages.
Receiving- $0.25 per page to receive a fax.
We offer print services during regular business hours. You can print directly from your own device.
-Color prints - $0.50/page
-Black and white prints - $0.25/page
We can also make black and white copies for $0.25/page.
MGF Library currently has 16 Public Access Computers, 9 laptops for patron use, and 4 children's iPads. We also offer free technology classes each month at Milan Senior Center. See our Calendar of Events for more information!

If you are having an event and would like to use our meeting room, please call the library. There is no charge for non-profit organizations. All other events require a $25 deposit to hold the room and $30 rental fee prior to the event.
If an item you are looking for is not available from MGF Library, it may be possible to borrow it from another library using Interlibrary Loan (ILL). The following criteria apply:
Only 1 book may be borrowed at one time.
The author and title must be provided.
Requests are limited to Books, DVDs, and Audiobooks.
Since we are a public library, we do not request academic materials for college courses.
The library staff will be happy to help you identify and order items through ILL. Please stop by the circulation desk or give us a call.

Test proctoring is available during normal business hours. Please call ahead of time to schedule an appointment. Please schedule at least one week in advance.
Please bring your Photo ID on the day of the test.
