The mission of Mildred G. Fields Memorial Library is to be the learning center for our community and the place for Milan residents to turn for free, open, and equal access to information on a broad array of topics;  resources to promote personal growth and lifelong learning; and popular and relevant materials to meet cultural and recreational needs. Community needs drive our services and we strive to offer those services in a welcoming, convenient, and responsive manner. Through these efforts, the goal of Mildred G. Fields Memorial Library is to foster lifelong learning, the joy of reading, and the pursuit of information and knowledge for all ages and cultures
