Solving Twitch.tv's DMCA problem
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hdo2xiRKE1o&t=5m55s This video (watch for about 3-5 minutes) outlines major problems with livestreaming on media platforms. Also has some mature language.
The current problem is when a streamer is playing music on stream that is not licensed to them to play to an audience of hundreds, thousands, or tens of thousands. Every single viewer that is listening is not paying the record label or artist for their work.
The proposed solution is to create a Twitch.tv extension (livestream overlay button with a pre-programmed function) that allows synchronization of music players between the streamer and the viewer.
If a streamer uses this extension, they will have to take it a step further and layer their Spotify/iTunes/Media audio in their stream settings such that the sound is NOT being transmitted on stream, thus entirely avoiding any DMCA by entirely NOT playing music on stream.
But there are many technical and cultural hurdles that need to be jumped to fulfill this project and get it ready for release....
Wireless Sensor Network
Using sensors and my pi or computer, create a network that allows for connectivity and reporting on a dedicated variable.
Create dependencies on these variables (i.e. lights changing color from a motion sensor reading 'true.')
