We are MN Educators 4 Palestine. We are educators from across Minneapolis who care deeply about the liberation of the Palestinian people from occupation and apartheid. We understand that their suffering is directly linked to how our pensions are invested. We know that the Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions (BDS) movement is where real change will happen by holding Israel accountable to international and humanitarian laws. Our focuses include divestment of our pensions, educating our fellow educators, teaching Palestine in the classroom and building a movement of intersectional solidarity. We know none of us are free, until all of us are free and that includes Palestine, Free Palestine!
“A message to those in solidarity with Gaza's students:
To everyone who has raised their voices, participated in the hunger strike, shouldered its burdens, and stood with Gaza's students in the face of injustice.
From the heart of Gaza, from the rubble of schools, we send you our gratitude, our love, and our deep respect.
What you are doing is not just solidarity; it is a light that shines in our hearts.
You are telling the world that Gaza's children are not alone, that Gaza's students are not just numbers, but human beings who deserve to live with dignity.
Your hunger strike and your raising of the voice of freedom make us feel that we are still in the hearts of the free. You are proving that words have power, and that conscience is still alive.
You may not see the results immediately, but every step you take makes a difference.”
