K-ETA Application

Since September 2021, K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization) is required in advance to all arrivals in Korea. Nationals, who are eligible for visa-free entry are required to get K-ETA approval in order to board the flight or ship bound for Korea.

Some countries are temporarily exempt from K-ETA, so you can check whether you are exempt or not on the website below. When applying for K-ETA, a 'K-ETA Exemption Eligible' pop-up will appear for countries temporarily exempt from K-ETA.

Domestic Transportation Guide

Depending on the airport you arrive in Korea, you would take one or more public transportation to get to Pohang. Please click here for more information.

Train schedules are usually released and reservation becomes available up to one month in advance, so please make your booking as soon as the booking system opens to secure your seat, as KTX trains tend to be fully booked, especially on weekends
