2. Assessment of the effect of COVID-19-led lockdown on migrant workers and their families in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. (Sponsored by UNICEF)

Roles and Responsibilities in Project 1:

1. Conducting Research: Responsible for researching the centralized kitchens run by NGOs providing mid-day meals under the PM-POSHAN scheme in Bihar. Gather data on these kitchens' operations, management, and impact.

2. Preparing Questionnaire: Develop a questionnaire based on evaluation criteria and tools to collect data for the evaluation of the kitchens.

3. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect data on the performance of the centralized kitchens, including the kitchen's infrastructure, food quality, hygiene standards, and any complaints received. Analyze the data to identify areas of improvement and make recommendations to improve the program.

4. Team building: Responsible for recruiting Research Assistants to conduct the on-field survey of schools associated with the kitchens. They will need to maintain effective communication and build relationships to ensure the smooth running of the project.

5. Reporting: Preparing reports on the performance of the centralized kitchens and the program's overall impact. Present the findings to various stakeholders and make recommendations for future improvements.

6. Coordination: Coordinate with other members of the project team, including Project Coordinators, researchers, and NGO coordinators, to ensure that the project objectives are met.

7. Documentation: Maintain documentation of all project activities, including data collection tools, reports, and other project documents.

8. Budgeting and Financial Management: Responsible for managing the project budget and ensuring all project activities are within the allocated budget. Prepare financial reports and ensure that all project expenses are properly documented and accounted for.

Roles and Responsibilities in Project 2:

1. Data Analysis: Analyze the data to identify the critical challenges faced by the migrants in terms of wage reduction and employment stability and make recommendations for addressing them.

2. Reporting: Responsible for preparing the report to present the findings to various stakeholders and recommend future improvements.
