IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS WEBSITE DOES NOT REPLACE LAHAT NG NATUTUNAN NATIN SA MULTIPLY BOOTCAMP. This is just a quick guide for supporting details.

PROCESS FOR DISCIPLESHIP (Level 2 onwards)

Note:

• Kung manggagaling sa SEEKERS group ang ididisciple, please make sure to contact the coaches first bago tumuloy rito.

• The MULTIPLY BOOTCAMP is required bago dumaan sa process na ito.

1. Coaches: Mag-aassign ng disciple sa mentors. (O maaari ring mag-volunteer ng pangalan ang Mentor)

2. Mentor: Build / rebuild relationship with your potential disciples -- 'WAG MAGMADALI!

3. Mentor: Iinvite ang Potential Disciple for one-on-one mentoring and discipleship -- gamitin ang SCRIPT sa ibaba.

4. Determine kung ano ang gagawin ayon sa desisyon:
   a. Kung mag-no. Mentor: Inform coaches and go back to step 1.
   b. Kung mag-yes. Mentor: Inform coaches and tumuloy sa next steps.

5. Mentor: Go through New Life 1 with your disciple. Remember the guidelines from the Multiply Bootcamp, and make sure to check the NEW LIFE REMINDERS below.

   • Only 1 lesson a week

   • Pwede mong gamitin ang mga slides sa New Life powerpoint files o bigyan ng kopya ng New Life powerpoint printout ang disciple habang nagdidiscuss. Ngunit, dapat pa rin siguraduhin na sa New Life booklet ang basehan ng discussion.

   • Make sure to have your disciple take the learning check for the previous lesson bago magsimula ng susunod na lesson. Pwedeng i-take ang Learning Check online (nasa baba ang mga link), o kaya ay pasagutan gamit ang New Life Learning Checks printout kung hindi marunong sa Google Form. Idiscuss ang results ng learning check with your disciple -- lalo kung mayroon siyang ikinalito. Nandito ang Results of Learning Checks kung sinagutan online.

6. Mentor: Go through New Life Addendum 1 with your disciple. (Can be covered in 1-2 weeks)

7. Mentor: Check the disciple's milestones:

   • Water baptism: Check if nagpa-water baptize na ang disciple. Kung hindi pa, iencourage. Inform coaches if nais magpa-water baptize. Tulungang makapag-signup ang disciple, at samahan sa mismong water baptism kung maaari.

   • Prayer cell: Check if nag-aattend ng Family Prayer Cell ang disciple. Kung hindi pa, iencourage. Kung walang kasama sa bahay, i-encourage na dumalo sa Online Prayer Cell every Wednesday @ 6:30 pm.

8. Mentor: Go through New Life 2 with your disciple. Remember the guidelines from the Multiply Bootcamp, and make sure to check the NEW LIFE REMINDERS below.

   • Only 1 lesson a week

10. Mentor: Check the disciple's milestones:

    • Tithes: Check if nag-bibigay na ng tithes ang disciple. Kung hindi pa, iencourage.

    • Bible reading, prayer time, worship: Check if the disciple has his/her own Bible. You can gift them with one, but it’s much better if you encourage them to ‘invest’ on their spiritual growth by buying their own Bible! Teach them how to do a SOAP devotion (which you should have done if you followed the instructions in New Life 1) -- you can refer to our website for help: https://marikina4square.wixsite.com/website/post/bible-reading-plan. Encourage them to have daily prayer – teaching them the “Lord’s Prayer” structure or the ACTS structure. Encourage them to praise and worship our God as well! Show them that it’s not weird to sing unto the Lord, lift our hands and be vulnerable. And encourage them to live a lifestyle of worship! Best way to do this is to yourself be an example.

    • Ministry: Check if meron nang ministry ang disciple. Kung wala pa, iencourage. Reach out to the coaches kung hindi sure kung anong ministry ang meron.

11. Mentor: Magsubmit ng milestone status ng disciple via the MILESTONE REPORTING FORM

12. Mentor: Inform coaches kung tapos na ang New Life 1 & 2 including Addendum 1 & 2. I-signup ang disciple sa Multiply Bootcamp at iencourage na dumalo.

13. Mentor: Check if part na ng Care Circle ang disciple. Kung wala pa, iencourage. Reach out to the coaches kung hindi sure kung saang CC makakajoin.

14. Mentor: Check if member na ng church ang disciple. Kung hindi pa, iencourage. I-signup ang disciple sa Membership 101.

CONTINUE DOING LIFE TOGETHER AND GUIDE THEM AS THEY DISCIPLE SOMEONE!

REGULAR EXPECTATIONS FROM MENTORS

DOWNWARD (TO YOUR DISCIPLE)

• Talk at least once a week (not just for New Life, but also for kamustahan). Kahit tapos na ang New Life, nagkakamustahan parin dapat ONE ON ONE.

• Regularly check on their milestone completion

• Regularly check on their ongoing activities

• Check not just milestone completion but also CHARACTER!

• (Pag nasa Level 5 or 6 na sila) Check how they are doing with their disciples

UPWARD (TO YOUR MENTOR/COACH)

• Report the milestone status of your disciples using the MILESTONE REPORTING FORM

• Maintain the relationship

1. Talk about the Great Commission

2. Talk about how we cannot fulfill it alone, and even Christian life -- hindi natin kaya mag-isa!

3. Talk about how you see potential in this person to have more influence, leave a great legacy, fulfill God's purpose para sa kanya

4. Talk about the church's mission -- to follow Christ and make followers of Christ

5. Talk about how THAT should also be our mission - to follow Christ and make followers of Christ

6. Talk about how you want to help your disciple to fulfill his mission -- invite to 1:1 mentoring, a life-long relationship,. Merong partly involved na going through a material/lesson pero it's more of guiding them sa spiritual journey nila. At ang goal ay sila mismo, magdidisciple na rin ng iba after they go through the process.

1. • Only 1 lesson a week, except for addendum (can be 1-2 lessons per week)

   • Pwede mong gamitin ang mga slides sa New Life powerpoint files o bigyan ng kopya ng New Life powerpoint printout ang disciple habang nagdidiscuss. Ngunit, dapat pa rin siguraduhin na sa New Life booklet ang basehan ng discussion.

   • Learning Check Reminders:

     • Make sure to have your disciple take the learning checks at least 3 days after your lesson. Wag ipasagot agad.

     • Tip: 'Wag magproceed sa next lesson kung hindi pa nasasagutan ang learning check. Idiscuss ang results ng learning check with your disciple -- lalo kung mayroon siyang ikinalito. Nandito ang Results of Learning Checks

   • Book 1 Lesson 7 (Witnessing) Reminders:

     • Homework: Share their life testimony to their mentor (written or video), try practing how to share the Gospel using the figures/drawing na walang kodigo, prepare a list of people that they want to reach

     • Sample Gospel presentations: The Witness (concert), Falling Plates (video)

     • Sample booklets (soft copy): The Best Decision (from CCF), The Best Decision (TAGALOG), YOLO (from Saved Radio)

   • Book 1 Lesson 8 (Spiritual Multiplication) Reminders:

     • Kapag patapos na ng New Life Book 1, talk to your disciple kung sino ang napupusuan nya na idisciple sa church--lalo na among leaders and regular attendees na. Banggitin na icoconfirm pa ito ng coaches, but we will consider their preference.

     • Inform the Coaches kung sino. The Coaches will inform you kung OK, or if may ibang suggestion.

     • Once may final name na, the disciple can start building a relationship with that person.

     • REMEMBER: Hindi pa magsisimula ng formal discipleship/mentoring. That will happen after the Bootcamp. Unahin muna ang relationship-building.

1 - CONNECTED

I am connected to the body of Christ through the church. I am regularly attending services or Bible studies. I have at least 2 people I can consider friends in the church.

Milestones:

• Attending church / Bible study

• Has engaging relationship with at least 2 church attendees

2 - INVESTED

I have accepted Christ in my life as my Savior and Lord, and have told other people about my decision! I also understand that He has saved me for a purpose.

Milestones:

• Understands the vision / goal (his / her purpose)

• Completed New Life 1 (Faith Foundations) – and received Christ

• Completed water baptism

3 - ROOTED

I am sure of my faith in God! I am a follower of Christ. I am surrendering my life and will to the Lord daily – this includes practicing discipleship habits such as worship, daily Bible reading, prayer, giving.

Milestones:

• Reading own Bible and has devotion, prayer time; able to worship God in Biblical ways

• Giving tithes

• Attending/holding Prayer Cell

• Completed New Life 2 (Spiritual Formation)

4 - COMMITTED

I consider MFGC my home church where I am committed to grow. I am contributing to the body of Christ through my skills and talents. I am also committed to an ongoing small group and/or have a personal relationship with a mentor where I am practicing authenticity and accountability.

Milestones:

• Member of a Care Circle / Has personal relationship w/ a mentor

• Serving in a ministry

• Completed Membership 101

• Committed through membership

5 - INTENTIONAL

I am a follower of Christ making followers of Christ. I understand my role to ‘make disciples’, and my mission field– which is at least one person who doesn’t know Christ yet, or is interested to grow in Christ. I am building a relationship focused on helping them to follow Christ.

Milestones:

• Completed Multiply bootcamp

• Leading at least 1 disciple until Stage 4 (Committed)

6 - MULTIPLYING

I am a multiplier! I don’t stop making disciples! I regularly and repeatedly make followers of Christ who have at least reached Stage 5 (Intentional) – meaning, they are reproducing another generation of disciples!

Milestones:

• Regularly leading disciples (both new and old to church) at least until Stage 5 (Intentional)
