MFBM optimizes document and policy review process

The Ministry of Finance, and Budget and Management (MFBM), through the Economics Division, conducted a three-day workshop on Reviewing Technical and Policy Documents from February 18 to 20 which was held in Cotabato City.

This activity enabled the participants to thoroughly review policy and technical documents, as well as strengthen their decision-making skills to provide effective and well-rounded fiscal policies.

Topics highlighted in the workshop include the lecture on Process flow, Quality Control, Fundamentals of Technical Documentation Review, Principles of Reviewing Technical Documents in the BARMM Context, and Various Perspectives in Technical Document Review: Socio-Economic, Health, Education, Environmental and Gender Considerations. These topics were discussed by the Policy Research and Legal Services Team from Bangsamoro Transition Authority. Moreover, the workshop addressed open discourse for idea sharing and execution of the workshop proper.

MFBM Deputy Minister Abdullah M. Cusain emphasized that the workshop will serve as a tool to enhance the analytical and practical skills of the technical team and will help ensure accuracy and clarity in creating policy documents.

“Through this initiative, we aim to equip our technical staff with the necessary tools and frameworks to analyze policy documents with clarity, accuracy, and strategic foresight”, he added.
