The Economics Division of the Ministry of Finance, Budget, and Management (MFBM) recently conducted an in-depth study on the spending patterns of BARMM-funded provincial hospitals. Led by Division Chief Noraida G. Macapantar, the research team visited four key healthcare facilities in the region: Maguindanao Provincial Hospital, Datu Halun Sakilan Memorial Hospital, Sulu Provincial Hospital, and Tamparan District Hospital.
These on-site visits aimed to collect essential data, engage in interviews with hospital staff and key personnel, and strengthen coordination with the concerned hospitals. The study's primary objective is to analyze the allocation and utilization of healthcare budgets within these BARMM-funded facilities.
By identifying spending trends and uncovering potential inefficiencies, the research seeks to provide actionable insights that will enhance budgetary efficiency and improve healthcare outcomes across the region's provincial hospitals. This initiative underscores BARMM's commitment to optimizing public healthcare services for the benefit of its constituents.
