Advancements in Concrete Slab Technology: A Review of the Engineering, Aesthetics, and Applications
This paper explores the evolution of concrete slab technologies through the lens of architectural design and form, revealing how aesthetic and functional integration drives modern construction innovations. By analyzing projects such as the HiLo Floor, Smart Slab, Stereoform Slab, and HOLEDECK systems, we illustrate the transformative potential of concrete technologies in achieving both visual impact and structural efficacy. These projects highlight the application of novel concrete mixes and advanced geometrical designs, which are made possible through digital fabrication and computational design tools. Each case study highlights the unique design elements that not only enhance the aesthetic qualities of the built environment but also contribute to sustainable construction practices by optimizing material use and incorporating recycled components. The comparative study underscores the significance of architectural creativity in advancing concrete slab technologies, emphasizing the role of design in promoting environmental sustainability and structural innovation. This paper aims to provide insights into how the interplay of form and function can lead to groundbreaking advancements in the construction industry.

Achieving Sustainable Architecture and Development Using Intelligent Buildings
Nowadays, the energy challenge is one of the most important considerations for all countries, as a result, countries are trying to obtain more energy with less damage to nature in order to conserve this energy. Smart buildings are modern and construction technologies in architecture that aim to optimize and control energy consumption for the purpose of reducing energy waste. The result of using building intelligence is to increase the lifespan of a building, which is an important step towards sustainable architectural design. There are several ways to get as close as possible to sustainable architecture, and one of the best ways is to use a smart building system. As a result, the integration of sustainable architecture with current technology and advances in intelligence can lead us to a sustainable architecture that has the least damage to its surroundings. Therefore, in this article, smart buildings with a sustainable architectural approach are discussed. The purpose of this article is to obtain scientific knowledge about the concepts of sustainable architecture and the goals of sustainable development in the construction industry. Besides, based on library studies, the concepts of smart building and its features, performance, and benefits have been discussed.

Utilizing New Energies In the Development of Smart Buildings
Today, the human concern is using less non-renewable resources for conserving energy resources. In this regard, there are various methods to conserve energy sources. To achieve so, using renewable sources like the sun, wind, etc., and present new technology on these sources is considered. Therefore, the need for optimal use of clean energy such as solar energy and improving their performance by new technologies such as photovoltaic smart panels, both to reduce the consumption of irreversible fuels and prevent energy loss to implement the concept of environmental protection supposed to reduce the pollution that enters the environment. Technologies for generating electricity from the sun are divided into three categories. Among them, photovoltaic technology, which operates based on converting sunlight into electricity, has the highest growth and could be used globally. The advantage of them is to generate electricity directly without the use of chemical materials. To use these energies, the role of smart solar panels in promoting building intelligence concepts should be investigated. The results indicate that by adopting the right methods such as the optimal use of new energy, and as a result, smart buildings can create real stability in buildings and have great achievements in the construction industry.

Smart Buildings as a New Approach to the Development of Sustainable Architecture
In the present day, there is increased focus on energy conservation and consumption due to the environmental pollution and high energy consumption that have generated concern. Consequently, the implementation of suitable methodologies to ensure the proper utilization of energy has emerged as a significant obstacle in the pursuit of increasing energy production while minimizing environmental harm. In light of the fact that the construction sector is one of the most significant energy consumers, characterized by high energy waste and inefficiency, emphasis is placed on the energy consumption within the building. As a result, every nation is striving to develop intelligent building designs that not only minimize energy consumption but also extract the maximum amount of energy from natural sources. Presently, sustainable architecture is a reality due to the concepts of intelligent building architecture and intelligent design that have been made possible by technological progress. Intelligentization is effective at reorienting a greater number of buildings toward energy conservation and sustainable design, and under the current circumstances, it may also be effective at reducing air pollution and energy loss. Understanding the concepts of sustainable architecture and the objectives of sustainable development in the construction industry is the scientific purpose of this article. Additionally, libraries have examined smart building concepts, including their characteristics, functionality, and advantages.
