A Few Reminders - Border Crossing at Mexico
Ensure all passengers remove sunglasses and put away cell phones during the border crossing.
If your group uses radios/walkie-talkies, they should be turned off in the border area.
It’s not a time for joking or messing around—please remind your group to be calm and respectful.
Mexico has several rules about prohibited items that cannot cross into their country. These items include drugs, firearms, fireworks (including flares for vehicles), firewood, full propane tanks, large donations and restricted food items. If these items are brought, they put you at risk for taxation, confiscation and ultimately, hurt the reputation of our ministry and other groups crossing.
