The 2nd Mexican Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Conference (MEXAI&DC 2026), hosted by the Unidad Profesional Interdisciplinaria de Ingeniería campus Tlaxcala of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN) in Tlaxcala, Mexico, on October 8–9, 2026, serves as a open-access academic forum dedicated to present advances in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Bringing together researchers, students, and industry professionals, the event fosters high-level discussions on cutting-edge topics ranging from evolutionary computation and deep reinforcement learning to practical smart system implementations. Committed to accessible science, the conference features a rigorous double-blind peer review process and publishes its proceedings with assigned DOIs at zero cost to authors, ensuring global visibility and impact for all accepted theoretical and applied contributions.
