Eruption Activity

Erebus eruptive activity is highly variable. Although currently Erebus is relatively quiet, 2005-2007 featured a significant escalation in Strombolian gas slug eruptions that were detected via seismic/infrasonic matched filter (which also featured variable uptimes due to seasonality and station down times).

Incomplete catalog: Following the works of Chaput 2012 and Knox 2011, matched filter catalog of eruptions for both MEVO (up to 2012) and for the ETB/ETS networks (2007-2009) was assembled, and is available here.
