Fictional Googology

What is Fictional Googology?

Fictional Googology, or FG for short is basically Googology, except it involves studying fictional numbers. Hence the name, it is simply fiction and is not meant to be taken seriously. Originally, it was meant to be just numbers past Absolute Infinity, but it has expanded vastly throughout many types, with most of them being -ologies. Many of them seem to be either confusing or unnecessary, but I will explain what some of these Fictional Googology types are.

The Different Types of Fictional Googology

Outerology

Outerology is the more rigorous type of FG. However, most of its numbers are on the Fictional Googology wiki and have definitions that are hard to understand. This term was coined by CoolNumbers2. There's also Transcology, which was invented by Aarex Tiaokhiao and is the Outerology "beyond the real-life."

Aperdinology

Aperdinology is the Fictional Googology of Freedom. It is entirely independent and fictional from FG. It involves numbers beyond Absolute Aperdinal, whether it's version-conclusive (Version Pi) or the most recent version of it. This is very important and recommended for FG members who have a hard time understanding Outerology. To join it, just surpass Absolute Aperdinal. This term was coined by WTIF2025 / stella.

Quantum Googology

Quantum Googology is the study of the largest small numbers, or quantumnumbers between 0 and 1. Such numbers that are larger than the decimals are called oneoids. There's also Meta-Quantum Googology, which involves quantumnumbers that cover the entire number line. Due to The Quantum Core, it is not recommended to go too fast past Numbers 0 to 0 [Part 29]. This type of FG was founded by JoshuaDR.0809 and Circle Cube 285.

Nullology

Nullology is the study of the smallest fictional numbers. This means that there are fictional numbers below 0, and there is no true center of numbers. Such numbers are called zeroids. (There are also other types of numboids, such as twooids, threeoids, etc.) This type of FG was coined by Penthexium, but it was actually founded by The Bloxin Channel in late 2021.

Negativology

Negativology is the study of negative numbers and below. There is no beginning (or end of this). This type of FG was founded by JoshuaDR.0809.

Fictional Apeirology

Fictional Apeirology is like Apeirology, but it's the study of fictional infinities. There are two paths to this, which are Ordinology (founded by OddPandemonium03 and involves ordinals) and Cardinology (founded by me and involves cardinals). The main series of this type of FG are "An Ordinology Series" and "A Cardinology Series", however, they have been discontinued.

Prevology

Prevology is basically what would happen if we went beyond the regular [P], which is the previous entry of an FG cycle, usually with a border around it. This type of FG was founded by Catgirl Dog.

Indeterminology

Indeterminology is the study of indeterminate numbers, ranging from the smallest indeterminate number that is usually not on the number line, to the most complex indeterminate number. An example of an indeterminate numbers is 0/0, but some of these numbers could have estimations on the number line.

Breakology

Breakology does not cover numbers. Rather, it covers different types of breakings. This -ology has been used quite more often than necessary in some FG videos.

Treeology

Treeology also does not cover numbers. Rather, it covers different FG versions (like FG x.y). The current record is at least in FG 4.0.

Cosmology

Cosmology is basically just the study of objects in different sizes, including standard and fictional numbers.

Functions

In Fictional Googology, you can come up with any function, like where f(x) represents a fictional number.

Classifications

Fictional numbers can be grouped into classifications, such as Ordinal Levels, Stages, Classes, Superclasses, etc.

Loops

Loops are a repeat of numbers, where each repeat makes the number larger. For example, the first loop starts at Absolutely Eternal. There can also be sequences, which repeat a group of numbers after the start of the sequence, or masteries, which are a recap of numbers, but each mastery makes the numbers larger.

Cycles

Cycles start at a number, then apply functions to it, usually multiple times, until the cycle ends, then the cycle repeats until a new number is reached. The first cycle was the Terminusfinity cycle from the old Numbers 0 to NEVER [1/2]. Some cycles have "Absolutely Everything Versions" (named from Numbers 0 to Absolutely Everything), which are loud and may trigger photosensitivity.

Scales

Scales are a form of numbers that are a smaller or larger value than the original. Relatives are scales that are not a true value.

Breakings

Breakings skip through concepts. There are infinite types of these, however, some breakings can be dangerous.
