These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Metro Yatri mobile application and its city editions (including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kochi, Pune, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Nagpur, Agra, and the All-India edition) (together, the "App"), operated by Metro Yatri ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. About the App
Metro Yatri is an informational tool that helps you plan metro journeys, including routes, fares, interchanges, station details, and timings for supported Indian metro networks. The App is an independent product. It is not an official app of, and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by, any metro rail corporation or government authority, unless clearly stated.
3. Accuracy of Information (Important)
• Route, fare, timing, and station information is provided for general guidance only and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
• Metro operators may change routes, fares, schedules, and station status at any time without notice.
• Always confirm important details (such as fares, timings, and last-train information) with the official metro operator before you travel.
• We are not responsible for any missed trains, delays, incorrect fares, fines, or other losses caused by relying on information shown in the App.
4. Live Location Feature
If you choose to turn on the optional Live Location feature, the App uses your device location to show your position along a route. This feature is provided "as is", depends on your device's GPS and network accuracy, and may be unavailable or imprecise (for example, underground or in low-signal areas). Do not rely on it for safety-critical decisions.
5. Book Ticket and Third-Party Links
• The App may include a "Book Ticket" option that opens a third-party service (such as WhatsApp) to help you with ticketing.
• Any booking, payment, or communication you make through a third-party service is solely between you and that third party and is governed by their terms and privacy policy.
• We do not operate or control third-party services and are not responsible for them.
6. Advertisements
The App may show advertisements served by third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob / Google Ad Manager). We are not responsible for the content of ads or for any products, services, or websites they link to. Your dealings with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.
7. Premium Subscriptions and Purchases
• The App may offer Premium features through subscriptions or one-time purchases.
• All purchases are processed by Google Play and our purchase provider. Pricing, billing, renewal, and currency are shown to you at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account settings.
• Refunds are handled according to the Google Play refund policy and applicable law. We generally cannot issue refunds outside Google Play.
• Premium access is linked to your store account and may be restored on supported devices.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App, except where allowed by law.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App, or try to gain unauthorized access to it.
• Copy, scrape, or redistribute the App's content or data for commercial purposes without permission.
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it or harm other users.
9. Intellectual Property
The App, including its software, design, text, graphics, and logos (excluding third-party and operator trademarks), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. All metro network names and marks belong to their respective owners.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) for the App in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Changes to the App and These Terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Termination
We may suspend or end your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or for any lawful reason. Sections that by their nature should continue (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and intellectual property) will remain in effect after termination.
15. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information. Please review it.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to applicable law, the courts located in India will have jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms or the App.
