Privacy Policy for Metrio Unit Converter
Last updated: 5 July 2025
Metrio Unit Converter (“the App”) is developed and published by Oleh Zahoriansky (“we”, “our”, “us”).
We designed Metrio to work entirely on your device. The App:
Does not collect, store or transmit any personal information (e.g., name, email, location).
Does not use analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.
Does not request network access except when you manually refresh exchange-rate data; the request is made directly to a public-rate API and no identifying information is attached.
Stores nothing on our servers. All preferences (e.g., pinned units) remain in Apple-protected local storage on your device.
Because the App collects no data, it is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly solicit information from children under 13.
The App contains no third-party frameworks that gather user data. When you refresh currency rates, the App makes a direct, anonymous call to the open exchange-rate endpoint; the response is cached locally and never linked to you.
The App is native and does not use web views, cookies or any cross-site tracking technologies.
Since we hold no personal data, there is nothing to access, rectify, erase or port under GDPR, CCPA or similar regulations. If future updates add optional cloud features, we will update this policy and request explicit consent.
If we make material changes (e.g., introduce optional accounts or analytics), we will:
Update this document in the App Store listing and within the App settings.
Display an in-app notice upon first launch after the change.
Give you the option to accept or decline any new data practices.
