Recruitment material for the Language-specific Method Naming Study

Call for participants: We are looking for participants to participate in a study on Language-specific Method Naming. The study consists of two surveys: the first is a four-part programming experiment where developers analyze unnamed method body snippets across Python, Java, and JavaScript. Each independent section challenges participants to assign the most appropriate method names based on the method body and its surrounding class context, providing insights into code comprehension and naming conventions specific to each language's ecosystem. The second survey is a two parts exercise where developers analyze the same unnamed method body snippets across Python, Java, and JavaScript. Participants will be provided with suggested names and asked to rank them from most to least appropriate using a Lickert-scale.

Voluntary participation
Participation is entirely voluntary. Participants are under no obligation to answer questions against their will. They can cancel their participation in the experiment at any time, without consequences, and request that all identifying data be destroyed. All the data of the questionnaires will be destroyed upon their request to withdraw from the project.

There is no risk associated to this experiment as it does not involve any implication of body, and sensitive data exposure
