MetaTheatre Art Festival

We are pleased to announce that we will be holding the Meta Theatre Art Festival.

The Meta-Theatre Art Festival is the world's first theater festival to be held virtually. We hope you will enjoy the unique VR productions and wonderful plays and performances that will take place in each of the three theaters, large and small.

Introduction

VR theater, a cutting-edge new genre, is now coming into the limelight.

Even if you live far away, VR will bring you close to it. It is a new method of theatrical expression that enables you to jump over space and distance, even if you are interested in a place that is too far away to visit.

When you put on the VR goggles, even if you are in the form of an avatar, the sense of security that your friends and colleagues are there is no different from meeting them in real life.

The 3D space of VR also makes it possible to express mysterious magic through the use of particles, a graphical expression method, and because it is in the metaverse, it is possible to change the stage in an instant.

Furthermore, avatars can express themselves as they wish, regardless of gender or age.

We have planned this theater festival so that people can experience the performance expressed in this new VR world. We would like to create a theater festival that will leave a lasting impression on both the performers and the audience.

We would also like to make the genre of VR theater known to as many people as possible.

About us

The VR theater community "Meta Theater" is a theater community that operates in the VR space and metaverse. We have close to 200 participants, supporting performances and holding various events. The group also includes participants from theater in reality, creating a place for mutual exchange between VR space and reality.

Organizers and Directors

Nukopotu

Started working in small theaters in Tokyo around 2015. As a producer, he has experienced many sites. In addition, he has actively gained experience in sound and lighting, and has also written and directed his own performances. Major stage productions include Parthenon Tama "100 Shakespeare: A Summer Night's Dream" (2018, Parthenon Tama Fountain Square), Kodomo Kyojin Gekidan "Midnight Rainbow" (2018, Ekimae Theater, Umeda HEPHALL), and Kamomentaru Theater Company "Spacemen Hate Jellyfish" (2019, Akasaka Red Theater), Horibun "Ushikunuma 3" (2018, Kitatopia), and many others.

In 2021, he got hooked on VTuber, which led him to the virtual world. he directs various events and supports external events, mainly for major VRSNS such as VRChat and cluster. in November 2022, he tried his hand at VR theater. He organized and directed a new play "VR Macbeth" based on Shakespeare's play "Macbeth", which became a big hit in the VR industry.

Call for Exhibitors

The Meta-Theatre Theatre Festival is looking for organizations to exhibit at Entrance World.

We are looking for organizations that are active on the virtual stage to exhibit. The target audience will be companies whose core activities are based on cultural activities such as video, role play, and dance.

The booth design is preset and all you need to do is submit images and videos related to your activities. There is no exhibition fee.
