MetaLens ("the App") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information.

Information We Collect

MetaLens does not require an account or registration.

The developer does not collect, store, or receive personal information such as:

• Name

• Email address

• Phone number

• Physical address

• Payment information

• Files imported into the App

• Metadata contained in your files

File and Metadata Processing

MetaLens allows you to inspect, edit, and remove metadata from photos, videos, audio files, PDF documents, and other files.

Files and metadata are processed locally on your device.

The original file is not modified. When you save your changes, MetaLens creates a new copy of the file.

The developer does not receive or have access to your files or their metadata.

Device Permissions

Depending on the features you use, MetaLens may request access to:

• Photos, videos, and files, so you can select and save files

• Your device location, when you use the GPS map picker or the current-location feature

Location access is only used to provide the requested GPS functionality and is not collected or stored by the developer.

You can manage these permissions through your device settings.

Maps and Geocoding

MetaLens may connect to third-party map and geocoding services when you use the GPS map picker, location search, or reverse geocoding features.

These services may receive standard technical information, such as your IP address and the geographic coordinates used for the request, as part of normal internet communication.

Advertising

MetaLens displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob.

Google and its partners may collect and process certain information for advertising, fraud prevention, and performance measurement, including:

• Device identifiers

• Advertising identifiers

• IP address

• Diagnostic information

• Advertising interaction and usage data

This processing is governed by Google's own privacy policies.

Analytics

MetaLens does not use its own analytics platform and does not collect personal usage statistics.

Any advertising-related or diagnostic data is processed by third-party services such as Google AdMob, according to their respective privacy policies.

Sharing and Exporting Files

MetaLens only shares or exports a file when you choose to do so.

Files may be saved to your gallery or shared through apps and services selected by you through your device's system share menu.

The privacy practices of those third-party apps and services are governed by their own privacy policies.

Data Sharing

The developer does not sell, rent, or share your personal information.

Information may be processed by third-party services only when required for features such as advertising, maps, geocoding, or system file sharing.

Data Retention

Files and application data created by MetaLens remain on your device.

You can remove exported files using your device's file manager or gallery. Temporary application data may also be removed by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App.

Children's Privacy

MetaLens is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data Security

Because files and metadata are primarily processed locally, you maintain control over your information.

The developer takes reasonable measures to ensure that the App operates securely. However, no software or electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.

Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
