Meal scan history and metabolic scores

App usage data and scan history stored locally on your device

3. How We Use Your Information

Provide metabolic scoring and personalized health insights
Sync your data across devices via our secure database
Improve the accuracy of our AI analysis
Send in-app reminders (no external push notifications)
Calculate your streak, achievements, and progress
4. Third Party Services
Metabolic AI uses the following third party services:
Supabase — secure database and authentication (supabase.com/privacy)
Anthropic Claude API — processes meal photos for nutritional analysis. Photos are sent to Anthropic's API for analysis and are not stored by Anthropic beyond the duration of the API call (anthropic.com/privacy)
Google Fit — optional health data sync, only when you explicitly enable it (policies.google.com/privacy)
Apple HealthKit — optional health data sync on iOS, only when you explicitly enable it
RevenueCat — subscription management (revenuecat.com/privacy)
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely in Supabase with row-level security — only you can access your own data
Meal scan history is stored locally on your device for 90 days
We use industry standard encryption for all data transmission
We never sell your data to third parties
6. Sensitive Health Data
Metabolic AI may collect sensitive health information including medication details and menstrual cycle data. This information is:
Entirely optional — you choose whether to provide it
Used only to personalize your metabolic advice within the app
Never shared with third parties
Not used for medical diagnosis or treatment
Stored securely with the same protections as all other personal data

You have the right to:
Access all data we hold about you
Request deletion of your account and all associated data
Export your meal history
Opt out of optional data collection at any time through the app settings
