Overview
Messenger is a communication application that allows users to make voice and video calls, group chats, and connect devices such as smartphones and smartwatches. It may also provide local network services such as HTTP and FTP servers for file transfer and media streaming.
Data we use
We do not collect or permanently store personal conversations, voice, or video data.
However, the app may process the following data in real time for functionality:
IP address (for establishing peer-to-peer connections)
Device information (model, OS version)
Network information (connection status, latency)
Audio and video streams during active calls
Purpose of data usage
This data is used only to enable real-time communication features such as voice calls, video calls, and group communication.
Data storage
We do not store voice calls, video calls, or messages on our servers. All communication is transmitted in real time using secure peer-to-peer technology (e.g. WebRTC).
Sharing of data
We do not sell or share user data with third parties for advertising purposes.
Security
All communications are encrypted using industry-standard protocols.
User control
Users can start and stop communication at any time by using the app interface.
