• Notifications & Reminders: We use the POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission for important alerts regarding meal updates and bazaar costs. Additionally, we use SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM and RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED to provide timely daily bazaar reminders.

2. Data Security & Encryption

We prioritize the security of your information. Sensitive data, including financial records and personal details, are protected using AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) encryption. Additionally, all data transmitted between the app and our Firebase servers is secured via industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption.

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• Account Management: To maintain and manage your mess account and roles (Admin/User).

• Bazaar Reminders: To trigger daily notifications at specific times (e.g., 8:00 AM) ensuring you never miss your assigned bazaar duties.

• Calculations: To facilitate accurate meal and bazaar cost calculations.

• Real-time Updates: To provide instant updates via Firebase Cloud Messaging.

• Background Processing: We use Android AlarmManager and WorkManager to check daily schedules and send reminders even when the app is closed or the device is in power-saving mode.

4. Third-Party Services & Log Data

Our app uses Google Firebase for Authentication, Real-time Database, and Cloud Messaging. In the event of an error or crash, we may collect information known as Log Data (via Firebase Crashlytics), which includes your device IP address, device name, and OS version. We do not sell your personal data to any third parties.

5. Data Deletion Rights

Users can permanently delete their accounts and all associated data through the "Delete Account" option in the app settings. Once deleted, this information is purged from our Firebase database and cannot be recovered.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will immediately delete it from our servers.
