This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at Capital Active unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use the "Messages: SMS Texting App" app. By using our app, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
- Information Collection and Use
We collect different types of information to provide and improve the functionality of the App:
SMS Data: The App enables you to send and receive SMS messages. We do not collect, store, or share the content of your messages. All message data remains on your device.
Contacts Information: We may access your contact list to allow you to send messages to saved contacts more easily. This information is only used locally within the App and is not stored or shared.
App Usage Data: We collect anonymized usage data to better understand user interaction with the App, which helps us improve performance and functionality.
Device Information: We may collect device-specific information, such as the hardware model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers, to optimize the App’s performance.
- Data Storage and Security
We prioritize your security and have implemented several measures to protect your data:
Local Storage: All your SMS messages are saved directly on your device, ensuring they are not stored on external servers.
Data Encryption: Sensitive information within the app is encrypted to provide an extra layer of protection.
While we do our best to safeguard your data, it’s important to note that no method of data transmission or storage is completely foolproof. Therefore, we recommend being cautious and taking personal steps to protect your information.
Your privacy and security are important to us, and we’re committed to maintaining them.

- Third-Party Services
The App may request the following permissions:
Firebase Analytics:
We use Firebase to collect anonymized app usage data, such as feature engagement and crash reports, to improve the app's performance. This data does not personally identify you.
Lifecycle Components (ViewModel & LiveData):
We use lifecycle-runtime-ktx ,lifecycle-process, fragment-ktx and activity-ktx to manage UI-related data in a lifecycle-conscious way.
These components help maintain data consistency during configuration changes and enable reactive UI updates.
Glide
We use Glide (com.github.bumptech.glide:glide) for efficient image loading, caching, and display within the app — minimizing memory usage and optimizing performance.
RoundedImageView
We use RoundedImageView (com.makeramen:roundedimageview) to display images with customizable rounded corners and borders, enhancing UI presentation.

Room (Local Database)
Room DB (androidx.room:room-*) helps to store data like, archived , trashed, starred conversations.
Room helps preserve deleted messages by storing them in a dedicated table. If the user decides to restore a message from the recycle bin, it can be easily retrieved from Room and displayed again in the main message list.
EventBus
We use EventBus (org.greenrobot:eventbus) for decoupled communication between components such as activities, fragments, and services, making event handling more modular.
Gson
We use Gson (com.google.code.gson:gson) for serializing and deserializing Java/Kotlin objects to and from JSON, primarily for API communication.
libphonenumber
We use libphonenumber (com.googlecode.libphonenumber:libphonenumber) to parse, format, and validate international phone numbers according to country-specific rules.
Klinkerapps:android-smsmms
This library (com.klinkerapps:android-smsmms) is used to send and receive SMS and MMS messages on Android devices, especially in custom SMS apps.
Tbuonomo:dotsindicator

recyclerview-swipedecorator
Used (it.xabaras.android:recyclerview-swipedecorator) to decorate swipe actions in a RecyclerView — lets you easily add background color, icon, and label text when swiping items left or right.
