MessageMop Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 8, 2026
MessageMop is a browser extension that helps you manage your Discord messages on discord.com.
What MessageMop accesses:
- Your Discord account token from your logged-in discord.com tab, or a token you paste, so the extension can call Discord's API.
- Discord messages, channels, IDs, timestamps, authors, attachments, and related metadata that you choose to load or delete through the extension.
What MessageMop stores on your device:
- Extension settings such as delays, date/time format, and optional display cache data.
- Session state while you use the extension, including the Discord token needed for API requests.
MessageMop does not operate backend servers and does not upload your Discord token, messages, settings, or deletion activity to the developer.
What MessageMop does not do:
- It does not sell your data.
- It does not share your data with third parties for advertising.
- It does not run analytics or advertising trackers.
- It does not load remote JavaScript; extension code is packaged with the extension.
Third parties:
When you use MessageMop, requests go to Discord services such as discord.com and Discord's API. Discord processes that data under Discord's own terms and privacy policy.
