Welcome to "Messages from cells" Network

Messages from Cells (MFC) is a scientific network which brings together researchers across Europe and the international scientific community to bridge the gap between molecular-level information and cellular function. 

The network aims to advance the study of biomolecules directly within their native cellular context by combining expertise from structural biology, biophysics, spectroscopy, cell and chemical biology, biochemistry, modelling and related disciplines.

Emerging in-cell and in situ approaches—including NMR, EPR, fluorescence-based methods, advanced microscopy and complementary computational approaches—are opening unprecedented opportunities to investigate protein folding, conformational dynamics, molecular interactions, biomolecular condensates and metabolism directly in complex cellular environments.

However, no single technique or discipline can capture this complexity alone. 

MFC aims to create a collaborative and interdisciplinary framework connecting methodologies, expertise and scientific communities that currently remain insufficiently integrated.
