NEWS & INFORMATION

In an effort to keep you well informed, every student will receive notes during the year. Important information about upcoming events will be on these notes. Parents make sure to check your child's dance bag regularly for these dance notes.

MISSED LESSONS

Dancers are encouraged to make up all missed lessons. There are no refunds for missed lessons. Your make up class times will be available by calling the studio or asking at the reception desk.

HOLIDAYS & SNOW DAYS

The Studio closed Christmas Eve thru New Years Day, Closed Memorial weekend and Easter Saturday. On Halloween the studio usually closes early. Other closings, if necessary will be listed in your studio notes. In the event of bad weather call the studio for cancellations or check the television and radio cancellation lists.

LOST or MISPLACED ITEMS

All dance shoes look the same. Put your first and last name on both shoes, no initials. All students need to keep their belongings in a dance bag, and bring that bag from room to room with them. The studio is not responsible for lost articles. Parents should check their child's dance bag before leaving the studio. Items found at the end of the day are put in the downstairs waiting room.

RECITAL COSTUME FEES

Kinder-dance, Tap, Jazz, and Ballet students will need 1 costume per class for the annual recital.

Costume fees are approximately $50 per costume. A deposit is due by 12/1 and the balance is due by 3/1.

Baton students will need majorette uniforms for parades and gym shows.

Gymnastics students wear black leotards, tan tights, and tan jazz shoes for the annual gym show. Boys wear black sweats or jazz pants, black studio t-shirt and black jazz shoes.

Competition costumes are separate from recital costumes.

No cell phones on during classes.

Baggy shirts, boxers, gum, or jewelry is not allowed in any class. All girls must wear their hair in a bun or up off the face. Hair not properly secured can be dangerous to a dancer. Prior to class put clips and rubber bands in dance bags to be prepared for class.
