What is an ecologist?

An ecologist is a scientist who studies living things and their relationship to their environment. As a Junior Ecologist you will be exploring natural areas right here in Merrimac! For each property you visit, complete the Junior Ecologist Journal to learn more about our local habitats, flora and fauna. Journals and maps can be found at the trailheads or can be downloaded below. Visit often and at different times of day and during different seasons to see what changes!
