SMSControl – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SMSControl ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the App.
SMSControl is designed with privacy in mind and operates primarily on your device. We aim to minimise data collection and only request permissions required for the App's core functionality.
By using SMSControl, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
SMSControl does not collect, store on our servers, transmit to us, or share:
SMS message content
Phone numbers entered into the App
Contact names or address book information
Call logs or call history
User-created message templates
User settings and preferences
Location data
Personal information entered into the App
All SMS messages, templates, recipient selections, and related information remain stored locally on your device unless you choose to back up your device using services provided by your device manufacturer or operating system provider.
SMSControl does not collect personal information.
The App itself does not operate any servers and does not transmit your SMS messages, templates, contacts, or phone numbers to the developer.
The App may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob or other advertising partners.
These services may collect information such as:
Advertising identifiers
Device information
Ad interaction information
Anonymous usage information
Any such information is collected directly by the advertising provider and is governed by that provider's privacy policy.
SMSControl does not have access to, receive, or store this information.
SMSControl uses the SMS permission solely to allow users to send SMS messages that they have created within the App.
The App only sends SMS messages after:
The user selects or enters a recipient.
The user reviews the message content and recipient number.
The user explicitly confirms that the message should be sent.
The App does not:
Send SMS messages automatically.
Send SMS messages in the background.
Monitor incoming SMS messages.
Read SMS inbox contents.
Upload SMS content to any server.
Share SMS content or recipient information with third parties.
Message content and recipient numbers are processed only on the user's device for the purpose of sending the SMS requested by the user.
SMSControl may request access to contacts solely to make recipient selection more convenient.
Contact information:
Remains on your device.
Is not uploaded, transmitted, sold, or shared.
Is not stored by the developer.
The App uses contact information only when you choose to select a recipient from your contacts.
SMSControl processes information locally on your device to:
Create and manage SMS templates.
Allow recipient selection.
Send SMS messages after user confirmation.
Provide the App's core functionality.
The App does not use personal information for profiling, analytics, marketing, or tracking purposes.
Because SMSControl does not collect or store personal information on external servers:
SMS messages remain on your device.
Recipient information remains on your device.
Message templates remain on your device.
No user-generated content is transmitted to the developer.
We strive to minimise permissions and limit access to only what is required for the App's functionality.
SMSControl may use third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob.
These services operate independently and may collect information according to their own privacy policies.

SMSControl does not control the collection, storage, or use of information by third-party advertising providers.
SMSControl is not specifically directed at children under 13 years of age.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults. Any advertising displayed within the App is subject to the policies and controls of the advertising provider.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Updated versions will be made available within the App, on the Google Play Store listing, or through other appropriate channels.
Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
