These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Resume Builder mobile application ("App"), developed and provided by Merik Apps ("we," "us," or "our").
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue using the App.
Resume Builder allows users to create, edit, format, save, and manage resumes and related professional documents.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You must not:
Use the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
Attempt to interfere with or compromise the App's security.
Reverse engineer, modify, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
Use automated methods to access or interact with the App without our permission.
Abuse, disrupt, or attempt to damage the App or its services.
Use the App to create misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful documents.
The App may allow you to enter information such as:
Name and contact information
Employment history
Education
Skills
Professional summaries
Certifications
Other resume-related information
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you enter into the App is accurate, lawful, and appropriate.
You should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive or confidential information into your resume.
You are solely responsible for the content of any resume or document you create using the App.
Resume Builder provides tools and templates to help you create professional resumes. However, we do not guarantee that a resume created using the App will result in employment, interviews, job offers, or any particular outcome.
You are responsible for reviewing your resume before using, submitting, sharing, or distributing it.
We are not responsible for errors, omissions, inaccurate information, or misleading information contained in a resume created by a user.
The App may provide resume templates, formatting options, designs, and other features.
Features, templates, designs, and functionality may be added, modified, suspended, or removed at any time without prior notice.
We may also release updates to improve the App's performance, security, functionality, or compatibility.
Certain features of the App may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase.
Subscriptions and purchases are processed through Google Play and are subject to Google's applicable terms and payment policies.
Subscription prices, billing periods, free trials, and available features will be displayed before purchase.
Where applicable:
Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Google Play account.
Canceling a subscription does not necessarily provide a refund for the current billing period.
Refunds are generally handled according to Google Play's applicable refund policies.
We do not control Google's payment processing systems and are not responsible for payment-processing errors caused by third-party services.
If the App offers a free trial, the duration and applicable conditions will be presented at the time of enrollment.
Unless otherwise stated, when a free trial ends, the applicable subscription may begin automatically and the payment method associated with your Google Play account may be charged.
You are responsible for canceling the subscription before the end of the trial if you do not wish to continue with the paid subscription.
The App may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising services, including Google AdMob and other advertising partners.
The App may also use third-party services such as Google Play Services, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Google Ads.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their respective terms and policies.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, policies, or practices of third-party services.
The App, including its software, design, interface, graphics, branding, logos, templates, and other original content, is owned by or licensed to Merik Apps and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may use the App for its intended personal purposes, but you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, or commercially exploit our proprietary content without prior written permission.
Your own resume information and content remain yours.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose.
This license does not give you ownership of the App or its underlying software, technology, designs, or intellectual property.
We aim to keep the App available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.
The App may occasionally be unavailable because of:
Maintenance
Updates
Technical problems
Third-party service interruptions
Network problems
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
We may update or discontinue features of the App at any time.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not guarantee that:
The App will always be error-free.
The App will meet every user's requirements.
Information provided through the App will always be complete or accurate.
A resume created using the App will result in employment or any particular professional outcome.
The App will be available at all times.
You use the App at your own discretion and risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Merik Apps and its developers, affiliates, partners, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of business opportunities, employment-related outcomes, or other losses resulting from the use of resumes or documents created through the App.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be collected, used, and processed.
By using the App, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and understood our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, misused the App, or engaged in unlawful activity.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
Termination does not affect provisions that by their nature should continue after termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and applicable legal provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When changes are made, the updated version will be made available through the App or another appropriate location.
Your continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective means that you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Merik Apps operates, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Any disputes relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be handled in accordance with applicable law.
