Merge Birds is a mobile game. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use the game, how that information may be used, when it may be shared, and the privacy choices available to you.
Merge Birds may store game information locally on your device, including:
Game progress
Game settings
Unlocked birds and upgrades
In-game currency balances
Purchase entitlements
Other saved gameplay information
Information stored only on your device is not transmitted to or collected by us. This locally stored information may be removed if you delete the game, clear its data, or reset your device.
Merge Birds uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display and measure advertisements.
Depending on your device, location, consent choices, and advertising settings, Google may collect or process information such as:
Approximate location derived from your IP address
Device identifiers, including advertising-related identifiers when permitted
Device type and operating-system information
Advertisements displayed to you
Interactions with advertisements
App launches, taps, video views, and similar product interactions
Crash logs
Performance and diagnostic information
We do not ask you to create an account and do not intentionally collect your name, email address, phone number, home address, contacts, photos, precise location, health information, or other sensitive personal information through the game.
If you contact us directly for support, we may receive the information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address, message, screenshots, device information, or other information necessary to respond to your request.
Information collected through Merge Birds or its service providers may be used to:
Operate and maintain the game
Display advertisements
Personalize advertisements when permitted
Measure advertisement performance
Understand interactions with advertisements and game features
Detect fraud, abuse, and invalid advertising activity
Diagnose crashes and technical problems
Improve reliability, performance, and compatibility
Deliver and restore in-app purchases
Comply with legal obligations
Respond to support and privacy requests
Merge Birds uses Google AdMob to display third-party advertisements.
Depending on your consent, device settings, age, and region, Google and its advertising partners may use approximate location, device identifiers, advertising data, and product-interaction data to provide personalized advertising, measure advertising effectiveness, or associate activity from Merge Birds with information collected from other companies’ apps, websites, or services.
These practices may be considered “tracking,” “targeted advertising,” “sharing,” or a “sale” of personal information under certain privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged for the information.
On Apple devices, Merge Birds may request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework before accessing the advertising identifier or allowing certain tracking activities. You may deny this request. Denying tracking permission does not prevent you from playing the game, although the advertisements you receive may be less personalized.
Google may also use privacy-preserving advertising technologies, such as Apple’s SKAdNetwork, to measure advertising performance without directly accessing the advertising identifier.
You may manage certain privacy choices by:
Accepting or rejecting consent options presented within the game
Using any available “Privacy Options” or “Manage Privacy” control in the game
Changing tracking permission in your device’s privacy settings
Limiting personalized advertising through your Google or device settings
Resetting your device’s advertising identifier, where supported
Disabling notifications through your device settings
Uninstalling the game
Where required by law, you may withdraw advertising consent after providing it. Your updated selection will apply to future processing but may not affect information processed before your consent was withdrawn.
Some advertising and diagnostic information is controlled directly by Google or another service provider. Requests concerning information controlled independently by those providers may need to be submitted through their own privacy controls.
Merge Birds may use the following third-party services:
Google AdMob provides advertisements, advertising measurement, fraud prevention, analytics related to advertisements, and technical diagnostics. Google may collect and process information according to its own privacy policy and advertising policies.
Apple distributes the game and processes in-app purchases. Apple may collect and process information according to Apple’s own privacy policy and App Store terms.
Third-party providers operate independently and may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their collection and use of information are governed by their respective privacy policies.
Merge Birds may offer optional in-app purchases.
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number, bank-account information, or other full payment credentials.
The game may receive limited transaction information, such as:
The product purchased
Transaction status
Purchase receipt or transaction identifier
Purchase entitlement
Information required to restore a previous purchase
This information is used to deliver, verify, and restore purchases and to prevent fraud.
We may disclose information to:
Advertising and technology providers that help operate, advertise, analyze, secure, or improve the game
Apple when necessary to process purchases or provide App Store functionality
Government authorities or other parties when required by law, court order, or legal process
Parties necessary to protect the rights, property, safety, and security of players, the game, or the public
A buyer, successor, or other relevant party in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the game or its assets
We do not sell personal information in exchange for monetary payment. However, some disclosures made for personalized advertising or advertising measurement may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under certain privacy laws.
We retain information under our control only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
Operate and support the game
Fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy
Resolve disputes
Prevent fraud and abuse
Enforce agreements
Comply with legal obligations
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and why it was collected.
Game progress stored locally generally remains on your device until you uninstall the game, clear its data, or reset the device.
Google, Apple, and other independent service providers determine their own retention periods according to their respective privacy policies.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information under our control from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no electronic transmission, storage method, application, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Merge Birds is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly request names, email addresses, home addresses, or other direct contact information from children under 13 through the game.
Advertising may be limited or treated differently based on applicable law, the player’s age or age range, consent choices, platform requirements, and the settings provided to advertising services.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information through Merge Birds in a manner that requires parental consent, contact us at lexablyapp@gmail.com. We will review the request and take reasonable steps to delete or restrict the information when legally required and technically possible.
You can manage tracking and personalized ads through your device settings or any privacy options shown in the game.
You may also contact us at lexablyapp@gmail.com to ask a privacy question or request deletion of information we control.
Because Merge Birds does not use player accounts, we may not always be able to identify data connected to a specific player. Information collected directly by Google, Apple, or other third-party services may need to be managed through their own privacy tools.
Google, Apple, and other service providers may process information in the United States and other countries.
The privacy and data-protection laws of those countries may differ from the laws where you live. Where required, service providers may use recognized legal mechanisms intended to protect information transferred internationally.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the game, its services, legal requirements, or privacy practices.
When the policy is updated, the revised version will be posted on this page and the “Last updated” date will be changed. Material changes may also be communicated through the game or another appropriate method when required.
