Bio and CV
Mercy Amankwah is an Applied Mathematics PhD Student at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). Mercy's bachelors is in Mathematics. She holds an MPhil in Scientific Computing and Industrial Modeling from NIMS-Ghana and KNUST, Ghana. Her research in the past has focused on Mathematical Imaging. Mercy is very interested in Bayesian Scientific Computing and recently Quantum Computation as applied to Scientific images.
She's the founding president of the SIAM Student Chapter at CWRU and currently the Vice President of the Graduate Council of Arts and Sciences (GCAS) at CWRU.
