The 40, 50 and 60 HP carbs were all different and were chiefly repsonsible for the power difference between the three models. 60 and the big brother 90 HP 3 cylinder motors used the same carbs.
The 40 HP variety of the 59 inch motor has reed stops different from that of the 50 and 60 HP motors.
