Professional Biography

I am a Procurement & Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert with more than 30 years of progressive experience delivering procurement excellence across mining, manufacturing, engineering, information technology, state-owned enterprises, and the public sector.

Throughout my career, I have successfully led strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier performance programmes, procurement transformation projects, contract management, governance, procurement compliance, and category management. My experience includes working within highly regulated environments requiring compliance with PFMA, PPPFA, National Treasury Regulations, and corporate procurement frameworks.

As Founder and Director of Avenir Africa (Pty) Ltd, I provide procurement consulting, governance advisory, supplier development, procurement transformation, and strategic sourcing support to organisations seeking operational excellence.

I am currently expanding my expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Analytics, Power BI, Prompt Engineering, AI Model Evaluation, and Procurement Data Annotation to support AI-enabled procurement transformation initiatives.
