PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains how Mera Calc (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “the app”), developed by Fournova Tech, handles information when you use our Android application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about our data practices.

By downloading or using Mera Calc, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1.  Information We Collect

Fournova Tech does NOT directly collect any personal information from you.

Mera Calc is a utility application. We do not directly collect, store, transmit, or sell any of the following:

•    Personal identification information (name, email, phone number, address)

•    Health or body measurement data entered into the calculators

•    Financial information or loan data entered into the calculators

•    Contacts, calendar events, or any other personal device data

•    Photos, files, or media from your device

All calculations — including BMI, EMI, Age, Percentages, Unit Conversions, and all other calculator functions — are processed entirely on your device and are never transmitted anywhere by Fournova Tech.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON ADVERTISING

When advertisements are displayed in the app, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may automatically collect certain device-level data in order to serve ads. This is described fully in Section 4.

2.  Permissions Used

Mera Calc requests only the minimum Android permissions necessary:

INTERNET  (android.permission.INTERNET)

Required to load advertisements via Google AdMob. The core calculator features work fully offline; internet is used solely for serving ads.

ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE  (android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE)

Allows AdMob to check network connectivity before loading an ad. No personal data is accessed using this permission.

The app does NOT request or use any of the following:

•    Camera or microphone

•    Precise or approximate location (GPS)

•    Contacts or calendar

•    Read / write external storage

•    Phone state or call logs

•    SMS or messaging

•    Biometric or fingerprint data

3.  Data Storage by Fournova Tech

Fournova Tech does not operate any remote servers or databases for Mera Calc.

The only data stored by the app itself is your locally saved preferences:

•    Theme setting (Light / Dark / System Default)

•    Language setting (English / Hindi)

These are saved using Flutter’s local SharedPreferences storage on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app.

4.  Advertising — Google AdMob

Mera Calc uses Google AdMob (“AdMob”) to display advertisements. AdMob is a service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

4.1  What AdMob Collects

AdMob may automatically collect the following information from your device to serve relevant advertisements. This data is collected by Google, not by Fournova Tech:

•    Google Advertising ID (GAID) — A resettable, anonymous device identifier used to serve and measure personalised ads.

•    Device information — Device model, OS version, screen size, language.

•    IP address — Used to determine approximate geographic region for ad targeting. Not stored in a personally identifiable manner by Google.

•    App interaction data — Which ads were shown, tapped, or dismissed.

•    Network information — Connection type (Wi-Fi or mobile data).

•    Approximate location — Inferred from IP address, not GPS.

4.2  How This Data Is Used

The data collected by AdMob is used to serve relevant advertisements, measure ad performance and engagement, prevent fraudulent ad activity, and comply with legal obligations. Fournova Tech receives only aggregated, non-identifiable revenue and performance statistics. We do not receive any individual user data from AdMob.

4.3  Personalised vs Non-Personalised Ads

By default, AdMob may serve personalised ads based on your interests and prior online behaviour. You can opt out at any time:

•    On Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete Advertising ID (or “Opt out of Ads Personalisation” on older Android versions)

After opting out, you may still see non-personalised (contextual) ads, but they will not be based on your interests or browsing history.

4.5  No Other Ad Networks

Mera Calc uses only Google AdMob. We do not use Facebook Audience Network, AppLovin, Unity Ads, IronSource, Chartboost, or any other ad network.

4.6  No In-App Purchases

Mera Calc does not offer any in-app purchases, paid upgrades, or subscription services. The app is free to use.

5.  Children’s Privacy

Mera Calc is a general-audience application and is not directed at children under the age of 13. Fournova Tech does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Regarding advertising: We configure Google AdMob to comply with applicable children’s privacy laws including COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act). We do not knowingly direct personalised advertising to children under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has been subjected to personalised advertising through this app, please contact us immediately at meracalchelp@gmail.com and we will take appropriate action.

6.  Data Security

•    Fournova Tech collects no personal data, so there is no personal data at risk on our end.

•    All calculator inputs are processed locally on your device only.

•    Local app preferences are secured within Android’s application sandbox.

•    Any data transmitted to Google AdMob is secured using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS encryption managed by Google’s infrastructure.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We encourage you to use your device’s own security features (screen lock, device encryption).

7.  Accuracy Disclaimer

The calculation results provided by Mera Calc — including but not limited to BMI, EMI / Loan calculations, Age, Percentage, Unit Conversion, Area, Speed, and Date Difference — are intended for general informational and educational purposes only.

These results should NOT be used as the sole basis for any medical, financial, legal, or other professional decision. Fournova Tech makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any result for any specific purpose. We strongly recommend verifying important results with a qualified professional.

8.  Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Advertising ID Control:

Reset or delete your Google Advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, via: Device Settings → Google → Ads

Clear App Preferences:

Device Settings → Apps → Mera Calc → Storage → Clear Data

Uninstall:

Uninstalling Mera Calc removes all locally stored preferences from your device permanently.

Data Held by Google:

For any data collected by Google AdMob, you can manage and delete it via: https://myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy

Data Held by Fournova Tech:

Fournova Tech holds no personal data about you. There is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete. If you have a concern, contact us at meracalchelp@gmail.com.

Data Sharing: AdMob data is shared with Google LLC for advertising purposes only. No data is shared with any other third party by Fournova Tech.

Security: Data transmitted to AdMob is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS).

Data Deletion: Users can manage AdMob data via Google account settings. Fournova Tech holds no personal data to delete.

9.  Third-Party Links in Ads

Advertisements displayed within Mera Calc may contain links to third-party websites or apps. Fournova Tech is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of those external destinations. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit via an in-app advertisement.

10.  Changes to This Privacy Policy

Fournova Tech may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app, our practices, applicable laws, or the introduction of new features. When changes are made:

•    The “Last Updated” date at the top of this document will be revised.

•    The updated policy will be available at the privacy policy URL linked within the Mera Calc app.

•    For material changes, we may display an in-app notice.

Continued use of Mera Calc after any update to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
