Born from the love and laughter shared daily at Meow Dyer Cat Café, our rescue is the next step in creating a lasting safety net for cats in St. Mary’s County. We’ve incorporated as a Maryland nonprofit and are preparing to file for 501(c)(3) status.

• Build a founding board of passionate leaders

• Establish veterinary and foster partnerships

• Begin intake and adoption operations as funding allows

• Shape bylaws, policies, and early programs

• Provide governance for nonprofit status

• Guide fundraising and community outreach

• Launch our first rescue and adoption initiatives
