MenuWise AI is an AI-powered menu analysis and food decision-support application.

Depending on the version of the App and the features available in your region, MenuWise AI may allow users to:

The App is not a medical, healthcare, nutritional, allergy-safety, religious certification, or professional advisory service.

Depending on how you use MenuWise AI, we may collect or process the categories of information described below.

The exact information processed depends on:

4. Menu Photos and Images

MenuWise AI allows you to capture a menu image using your device camera or select an existing menu image from your photo library.

When you submit a menu image, the image is used only as necessary to perform the analysis requested by you.

The image may be transmitted through our technical infrastructure and to our AI-processing provider for purposes such as:

• reading menu text;

• identifying menu items;

• understanding dish descriptions;

• translating menu content;

• estimating ingredients;

• estimating nutritional information;

• detecting potential dietary concerns;

• generating AI-powered menu analysis.

MenuWise AI does not permanently store submitted menu photos.

Menu images are not added to:

• a permanent MenuWise AI photo library;

• a public database;

• an advertising profile;

• a user identity profile.

MenuWise AI does not intentionally retain submitted menu images after the requested processing has been completed.

However, independent infrastructure and AI service providers may temporarily process technical data as necessary to transmit and process requests, maintain security, prevent abuse, and operate their services in accordance with their own applicable terms, privacy commitments, and data-processing practices.

Users should not upload images containing unnecessary personal or sensitive information.

You should not submit images containing:

• identifiable faces;

• passports;

• identity cards;

• payment cards;

• bank information;

• medical records;

• passwords;

• authentication codes;

• private correspondence;

• other sensitive personal information unrelated to menu analysis.

MenuWise AI is designed to analyze food menus, not people or personal documents.

5. Camera Permission

MenuWise AI may request permission to access your device camera.

Camera access is used to allow you to photograph menus for analysis.

The App does not continuously access your camera.

The App does not use your camera for:

• background surveillance;

• facial recognition;

• continuous recording;

• advertising profiling.

You control camera access through your device settings.

If you deny or revoke camera permission, you may be unable to photograph menus directly through the App, but other features may remain available.

6. Photo Library Permission

MenuWise AI may request permission to access photos or media on your device.

This permission is used to allow you to select a menu image for analysis.

The App is not designed to automatically scan, analyze, or upload your entire photo library.

Only images that you actively select for analysis are intended to be processed by the App.

You may revoke photo library permission at any time through your device settings.

MenuWise AI uses OpenAI services to provide AI-powered menu analysis.

Information necessary to process your request may be transmitted to OpenAI.

MenuWise AI does not intentionally use OpenAI services to identify individuals from menu images.

Users should not upload images containing faces or unnecessary personal or sensitive information.

AI-generated results may be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, or based on assumptions. Users must independently verify important information.

8. Cloudflare Worker Infrastructure

MenuWise AI uses Cloudflare Worker infrastructure as part of its server-side and network architecture.

Requests may pass through Cloudflare infrastructure for purposes including:

• securely routing requests;

• communicating with AI services;

• protecting private API credentials;

• preventing direct exposure of backend credentials;

• applying security controls;

• preventing abuse;

• improving performance;

• maintaining service availability.

Cloudflare may process technical information necessary to provide these infrastructure and security services.

We do not use Cloudflare Worker infrastructure to create a permanent personal photo library.
