How it Works

The Mentor 48 program is simple. Some examples of ways to make use of the program are as follows:

• At your convenience, call three people from the mentor list over the course of the term
• When you go to a new contractor or job-site: look up a mentor who works for that shop and give them a call
• Call a mentor when you experience a problem with school, on-the-job training, or workplace issues
• Call a mentor, and then call another one; different viewpoints can be encouraging
• Take advantage of mentor-led skill-building workshops
