He has been an organiser of the past three editions of TASS workshop at IberLEF 2018, 2019 and 2020, the ALexS workshop at IberLEF 2020, the MeOffendEs and EmoEvalEs workshops at IberLEF 2021, and the past three editions of MentalRiskES at IberLEF 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Alba M. researcher of the SINAI research group and PhD student at the University of Jaén, Spain. She has been an organiser of the past three editions of MentalRiskES at IberLEF 2023, 2024 and 2025. Her research interests are in Natural Language Processing applied to mental health and well-being. This is the first workshop in which she is part of the organisation. She is a member of the COST Action CA23153 on Digital Mental Health for Young People.
Charo is an assistant professor at the University of Jaén, Spain. She is a member of the INS (International Neuropsychological Society) and belongs to the SINAI research group. Her research interests include the study of cognitive mechanisms underlying normal and pathological aging and the development of cognitive tests, statistical models and procedures based on technology that allow the early detection of cognitive decline in older people. It highlights the work being carried out for the development of an intelligent assistant based on Natural Language Processing that allows the early detection of cognitive impairment in older people. She has extensive experience as a practitioner and collaborates with the Psychology Service at the University of Jaén.
Mónica is tenured professor at the Department of Psychology, University of Jaén. Her research interests focus on the analysis of language and cognition from a contextual-behavioral perspective and the study of psychological inflexibility as a transdiagnostic process underlying most psychological problems. Another topic of interest is the analysis of the effectiveness and change processes of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has extensive experience as a practitioner and currently heads the Psychology Service at the University of Jaén.
Fabián, recent addition to SINAI (Sistemas INteligentes de Acceso a la Información) research group, where he joined the team as a Research Support Investigator. He has experience working with LLM-based agents, developed as part of his undergraduate thesis (TFG), which focused on the analysis of reviews using synthetic personas. In addition, he has participated in a research workshop through the SEPLN.
M. Dolores assistant professor at the University of Jaén, Spain. She is a member of the SEPLN and the DiverTLes community and belongs to the SINAI research group. Her research interests include Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, sentiment and emotion analysis, and offensive language detection. Since 2013, she has been continuously involved in several quite relevant R&D projects. She is a member of the organising committee in the past three editions of MentalRiskES at IberLEF 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Flor is an Assistant Professor at LIACS, Leiden University, The Netherlands. Her research lies at the intersection of language, computation, and society, with a focus on developing socially aware language technologies. She investigates how NLP systems interpret and respond to social and emotional cues to promote trust, fairness, and meaningful human–AI interaction while mitigating potential harms. She is an active member of SEPLN and the DiverTLes community and has co-organized multiple international workshops, including the 8th and 9th editions of WOAH, the 1st and 2nd editions of NLPSI, and the past three editions of MentalRiskES. She has also co-organized the 36th, 37th, and 39th editions of the SEPLN conference.
Alfonso is a professor of Computer Science, director of the SINAI research group of Universidad de Jaén, Spain. His research is focused on Natural Language Processing, Word Sense Disambiguation, Text Categorization, Sentiment Analysis, Offensive Language, Hope-Speech, etc. He has organized and chaired numerous congresses in the area of NLP. Likewise, he has formed and is part of numerous scientific committees of conferences and workshops in NLP. He is a member of the organising committee in the past three editions of MentalRiskES at IberLEF 2023, 2024 and 2025.
