Hello!! I am Mrs. Duff, Doss High School's Mental Health Practitioner. I have the privilege of spending my days helping the students and staff members in our school community. I am able to do this through individual and group counseling, climate and culture initiatives, and providing general resources for those in need. Prior to becoming a mental health practitioner, I taught English for four years; that is where I found my passion to help others beyond the four walls of a classroom. My educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in secondary education and a Master's degree in school guidance counseling. Combined, these two degrees give me a depth of knowledge to better understand and support student needs. As for my personal life, I am married to my high school sweetheart and we share one sweet baby girl together. We also have two doggies who are a part of our family. I like to spend my spare time with family, shopping, trying new restaurants, or exploring some sort of outdoor activity!!
