In Hertfordshire, over 35 teams and organisations work together to develop and share useful tools, training and information to support children and young people's mental health and wellbeing. On their website, you can find a range of self-help tools and information on how to access support if it's needed.
The Sandbox is an NHS funded service to support children and young people in Hertfordshire with their mental health and well-being. It offers a website, with access to games, worksheets, group chats and online events for children, young people, their parents/carers, teachers and other professionals. Signing up is easy.
This new free service is for children and young people aged 5-18, who are registered with a GP in Hertfordshire via their website: www.withyouth.org.
The With YOUth team offers online and practical support and can help with problems such as mild to moderate anxiety, behavioural difficulties, school attendance, low mood, relationship difficulties, bullying or self-harm.

Lumi Nova (most suitable for ages 7-12) - this is a digital gaming app
providing help for social/separation anxiety and/or phobias.
Herts Haven Cafes Herts Haven Cafés - WithYouth
Children and young people can get free support for their emotional wellbeing at Herts Haven Cafés which offer a safe and welcoming space for compassionate face to face emotional wellbeing support and guidance from trained workers, without the need for a professional referral.

The cafés are open in Hemel Hempstead and Ware across the week.

A friendly online drop-in space where you can use art, games, music and
writing to explore your feelings and express yourself.
To join this group, Creative Minds needs a referral. You can self-refer to this group. A parent, teacher, or professional can also do this for you.

Togetherall, is a resource that may be useful for sixth form students, parents/carers and school staff. Togetherall is an online 24/7 peer-to-peer mental health community, for residents of Hertfordshire who may be feeling low or depressed. It has a range of support, courses and advice with the additional benefit monitoring. You must be over 16 and live in Hertfordshire to join.
ChatHealth is a confidential text messaging service that enables children and young people (aged 11-19) to contact their local public health nursing (school nursing) team for confidential advice and support. You can get in touch for advice about any aspect of your physical or emotional health.
