From May 8th to May 29th

Mental Health Workshops

At the New Providence Memorial Library

We are inviting kids ages 5-12 to come to a series of local mental health workshops. These events will be featuring a local therapist, doctor, or social worker and a Girl Scout teaching kids about mental health. Each workshop may consist of crafts, games, and lessons that kids can engage in and have some fun with! Each family/group coming to the workshop should be attending with an adult. The adult must stay at the workshop at all times!

About Us

When Sriya Tallapragada, Lauren Venturella, and Mayuri Rajakaruna were tasked with their Girl Scouts Silver Award, they knew that they wanted to help other kids in town get better access to mental health resources. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, these workshops are held to help young kids take some time to care for themselves and learn new skills.
