Welcome!

I am a Specially Appointed Assistant Professor at the Hitotsubashi Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS), Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo, Japan.  I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Hitotsubashi University.

My research focuses on applied microeconomics, particularly development economics and economics of education. My work examines human capital development, the evaluation of education policies, and inequalities in educational access and outcomes across gender, race, and socioeconomic background.
