Mengqian Chen

I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) of Finance at Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow. I completed PhD and MSc in Finance at Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester. 

My research interests are corporate finance, cash holdings, securities offerings, stock market reactions, corporate financing decisions, and corporate social responsibility. 

I serve as a reviewer for the British Accounting Review, International Journal of Finance and Economics, The European Journal of Finance, and Economic Modelling.
