If you want a simple, lightweight USB-C headset for a small student group playing or learning around basketball, choose MENGLALA USB Type C; if you need a larger classroom set for shared Chromebook use, choose Ladont Class Set Headphones. MENGLALA supplies 10 individually bagged wired headphones, while Ladont doubles that quantity with 20 and adds a stated 16-millisecond audio latency.
For basketball-related listening, neither set is designed for sweat protection or noise cancellation, so the right call comes down to wired USB-C convenience, quantity, and the kind of listening setup you need.
For basketball-related listening, neither set is designed for sweat protection or noise cancellation. The practical choice comes down to how many headsets you need, the USB-C connection, and whether the stated audio details on Ladont matter for your setup.
MENGLALA USB Type C vs Ladont Class Set Headphones at a Glance
• MENGLALA USB Type C: A 10-pack of wired USB-C headphones with an adjustable headband, soft cushions, a 4-foot cable, and individual bags; its trade-off is that noise control is listed as none.
• Ladont Class Set Headphones: A 20-pack with USB-C connectivity, media controls, and a stated 16-millisecond audio latency; its trade-off is that the listed cable is wired and there is no noise control.
• Choose MENGLALA if a smaller set, individual packaging, and a 4-foot cable suit your class or household.
• Choose Ladont if you need more headsets in one pack and want the listed media controls and latency specification.
• Neither model is described as sweatproof, noise-canceling, or built specifically for basketball.
MENGLALA is a straightforward wired USB-C headset sold in a 10-pack. Its USB-C connector is listed as compatible with a range of USB-C devices, including tablets, smartphones, and laptops. That makes it a useful option when students use different kinds of devices but share the same connector type. The 4-foot cable gives a little room to sit comfortably at a desk or table without relying on wireless pairing or charging.
The lightweight design, soft ear cushions, and adjustable headband point toward flexible everyday use by children, teens, and adults. Each headphone is individually bagged, which can help when distributing units or storing them separately after class. For basketball-related activities, the wired connection is relevant if the listening happens near a compatible device—for example, during an indoor lesson or a stationary training activity. The product details do not describe water or sweat protection, so I would not treat it as a purpose-built workout headset.
How We Research
We compare products from their published specs and features; the verdicts below are our independent editorial opinions.
One limitation is the lack of noise control. The listed controls use push buttons, but the product details do not specify a media-control function. Its 10-headphone pack is also smaller than Ladont's 20-pack, which matters when equipping a larger group. Skip MENGLALA if you need a documented noise-canceling feature, sweat protection, or enough headphones for a group of 20 from one pack.
Ladont is aimed at classrooms and other shared-device settings, with 20 wired Type-C headphones in the pack. The listing describes compatibility with Chromebook, iPad, tablet, laptop, and PC. Since the connection is wired, there is no need to pair the headset or charge it before use. That can make distribution simpler when a class needs to begin a reading, testing, or computer activity without setting up wireless connections.
The stated 16-millisecond audio latency is a specific point of difference in the available product information. It gives shoppers a concrete figure to consider for video or other audio-and-screen activities, though the data does not describe a special basketball mode or guarantee how the headset will perform with every device. Ladont also lists media controls, soft sponge ear cushions, an adjustable fit, and a lightweight plastic headband. Those details suit shared classroom listening where students need a wired headset that can be adjusted and managed at the device.
Its 20-headphone pack is the larger option here, and the product information lists a 30-millimeter driver, 80-ohm impedance, and 92 dB sensitivity. These specifications distinguish it on paper, but they do not establish noise isolation or sweat resistance. The stated colors are mixed, and the product description says the pack includes 10 colors; that may help with assigning units, but color alone cannot guarantee that headphones will not be misplaced. Skip Ladont if you need a smaller, individually bagged 10-pack or a headset with documented noise control or sweat protection.
• Need more headsets in one pack? Choose Ladont: it is listed as a 20-pack, compared with MENGLALA's 10-pack.
• Want individually bagged headphones? MENGLALA explicitly lists each headset as sealed in its own bag.
• Need a specified cable length? MENGLALA lists a 4-foot cable. Ladont's data does not give a cable length.
• Prefer listed media controls? Ladont identifies media controls; MENGLALA lists push-button control but does not specify media functions.
• Comparing stated audio latency? Ladont lists 16 milliseconds. MENGLALA's data does not provide a latency figure.
• Need broad USB-C device compatibility? Both are wired USB-C models. MENGLALA names tablets, smartphones, and laptops; Ladont names Chromebook, iPad, tablet, laptop, and PC.
• Looking for the best low latency headphone for basketball? Ladont is the only one here with a stated latency figure, but neither product is described as a basketball-specific headset.
• Searching for the best noise canceling bone conduction headphones for basketball? Neither is bone conduction or listed as noise-canceling; both are on-ear wired headphones with no noise control.
• Want the best sweatproof earphones for basketball? Neither product sheet states sweatproof protection. I would not choose either on that basis.
In my opinion, I would choose Ladont for a classroom or group setup because the 20-pack covers more students, and its listed media controls and latency figure add useful detail. For basketball, I would keep the use case to compatible-device listening rather than assume either headset can handle sweat or block gym noise. If I needed only 10 headphones and valued individual bags and a stated 4-foot cable, MENGLALA would be the more sensible fit.
Before choosing, count the people who will use the headphones and check the connection on the devices involved. Both models are wired USB-C headsets, so they are most straightforward when the device has a compatible USB-C port. The product information does not promise compatibility with every device, and neither listing describes an adapter in the package. If your equipment uses another connector, verify that your setup supports USB-C audio before making a decision.
Think about how the headsets will be handed out and stored. MENGLALA's individual bags provide a clear separation option for each unit. Ladont offers twice as many headphones in one pack and identifies multiple colors, which could help organize shared equipment. Those are different practical advantages: one emphasizes separate packaging, while the other emphasizes group quantity and color variety.
For sports use, be especially careful about what the product details do not say. Basketball involves movement and can involve sweat, but neither headset is described as sweat-resistant, and neither includes a wireless connection. Both are on-ear designs with cables, so they make more sense for stationary listening or a nearby compatible device than for unrestricted movement on court. Neither is listed with noise control, so do not expect either one to cancel gym sounds or isolate the listener.
The product sheets also do not establish how either headset will fit every person or how long it will last under a particular school's handling routine. Both describe adjustable headbands and cushioned ear areas, and both list a one-year warranty. Those details are useful context, but they do not replace checking the fit, connector, and care requirements for the people and devices that will use them. For current price information, check the product page using the page's price button.
Ladont is the clearer choice when the main need is a larger set: it includes 20 wired USB-C headphones. MENGLALA includes 10 and individually bags each unit, which may suit a smaller class or a distribution plan that favors separate packaging.
Are either of these headphones noise-canceling?
Neither is described as sweatproof or designed specifically for basketball. Ladont lists 16-millisecond audio latency, while MENGLALA lists a 4-foot cable, but both are wired USB-C headsets and neither has stated noise control. I would use either only where the wired connection and environment make sense.
The sheets name several compatible device categories, but they do not guarantee compatibility with every model. Check that the specific device supports USB-C audio before choosing either headset.
